See event flyers for details.\n\n\nResidents of the unincorporated communities of Sunland\, Kagel Canyon\, Lopez Canyon\, West Chatsworth\, West Hills\, Oat Mountain/Twin Lakes and Lake Manor can drop off up to one ton of trash such as furniture\, appliances and other bulky items at Sunshine Canyon Landfill.  \n**Residents must bring proof of residency (e.g. Driver’s license). Please tarp down your load to prevent litter. No business waste\, tires or household hazardous waste ( paint\, cleaning products\, etc.) will be accepted. Please wear closed-toe shoes.**

DESCRIPTION:Bring your HHW/E-Waste to dispose of FREE of charge.\n\n\nPlease follow the transportation limit of 15 gallons or 125 pounds of hazardous waste per trip when driving your HHW/E-waste to the County permanent centers or collection events for disposal. \nHHW/E-WASTE COLLECTION EVENTS \nLos Angeles County residents may utilize temporary\, one-day collection events throughout the County to properly dispose of HHW/E-Waste FREE of charge. Events are from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. (unless otherwise noted). Rain or shine\, collection events will be held as scheduled below. \nBUSINESS WASTE \nBusiness hazardous waste and electronic waste is not accepted at the County permanent centers or collection events. If you are a small business with hazardous waste\, visit www.businessrecycling.com to locate a proper recycler. You may qualify for the Very Small Quantity Generator (VSQG) Program.
