Following more than a year of rigorous research, analysis, and community engagement, the Department of Economic Opportunity (DEO), alongside the Study Team of independent consultants, will share the findings of a comprehensive land use and economic impact study of Whiteman Airport in Pacoima. This study is intended to support thoughtful, informed decision‑making about the airport’s future and its long‑term relationship with the neighborhood. The County is pleased to invite you to the Final Presentation and Community Workshop, where the Study Team, led by Trifiletti Consulting, will share findings and gather final community input before the report is completed. This interactive session will be held in both English and Spanish, with multiple opportunities for participants to provide input, ask questions, share feedback and ensure that community perspectives continue to guide this work.
