Residents in the unincorporated communities of Sunland, Kagel Canyon, Lopez

Canyon, West Chatsworth, West Hills, Oat Mountain/Twin Lakes, and Lake Manor

can drop off up to one ton of trash such as furniture, appliances, and other bulky

items at Sunshine Canyon Landfill.

Residents must bring proof of residency (e.g., Driver’s License). Please

tarp down your load to prevent litter. No business waste, tires, or household

hazardous waste (paint, cleaning products, etc) will be accepted. Please wear closedtoe

shoes.
